LLS Security

Terms of business

The terms on which we provide security services. A signed quote accepts them.

1. Who

These terms apply to security services supplied by LLS Security Protection Ltd (company number 16300874, registered in England and Wales, registered office 225 Moor Lane, Chessington, KT9 2AB) ("we") to the client named on our written quote ("you").

2. Quotes and booking

A quote is valid for 30 days. Your written acceptance (email is fine) forms the contract. Prices are per officer, per hour, exclusive of VAT, and include everything unless the quote says otherwise.

3. What we supply

Officers holding a current SIA licence appropriate to the role, briefed on your venue and your conditions. We record each officer's licence number and expiry and check it before their first shift. We are not responsible for the conduct of anyone who is not our officer.

4. Changes and cancellation

Extra cover can be requested through the Cover Board or by phone; we confirm what we can fill. Cancellation by you with less than 24 hours' notice is charged in full for the shifts affected; with 24–72 hours' notice, 50%; with more than 72 hours' notice, nothing. If we cannot fill a confirmed shift we tell you as soon as we know it and you are not charged for the unfilled hours.

5. Your responsibilities

You provide safe working conditions, a briefing on the venue and its licence conditions, and a named manager on the night. You do not ask our officers to act outside the law or their licence.

6. Payment

Invoices are issued weekly or monthly as agreed and are due within 14 days unless the quote states otherwise. We may charge statutory interest on late payment (Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998).

7. Liability

We hold insurance appropriate to the work. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise our liability for any one job is limited to the fees for that job.

8. Data

We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy. Incident reports are shared with you and kept for three years.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
